SUPERFLOWER is a design studio that creates patterns from precise photographic investigations of the natural world. The inaugural wallpaper collection Florescence, was inspired both by Edo period Ikebana and 19th century Victorian patterns. The studio is driven to explore this rich history to fashion new forms for the future, seeking a median space that is not completely pure and not too manufactured.  Three patterns from the Florescence collection were recently acquired for the permanent collection at The Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum.
